Design Direction for a Pickels-Shop.

We had the exciting opportunity to lead the brand design for BRINE, a female-led startup founded by two passionate entrepreneurs from Hungary. Their mission was to bring their favourite snack, pickled vegetables, to shops across Europe and share its delicious taste and health benefits with a wider audience.

From the very beginning, we were inspired by their vision and commitment. We began by familiarising ourselves with BRINE's history to understand the cultural significance and personal passion that drives their business. The two founders' roots lie in the rich Hungarian traditions of staining, and they wanted to create a brand that combined their heritage with a modern twist.

We started our journey with a comprehensive brand strategy. Our goal was to position BRINE as a premier destination for gourmet pickles, highlighting the high-quality ingredients, artisanal techniques and unique flavour profiles that set the company apart. This strategic positioning highlights the shop's commitment to excellence and innovation.

Next, we designed a vibrant visual identity that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. The logo reminds us of the handcrafted nature of BRINE products and is complemented by a fresh and vibrant colour palette. A playful yet sophisticated typography was chosen to ensure the brand stands out while remaining accessible and memorable.

The result? A brand that not only attracts pickle lovers, but also stimulates their taste buds and makes them crave more of this tangy delicacy.
