Bridging the gap between technology and humanity
Creating the design for Australia's leading technology magazine presented a unique opportunity to combine creativity and innovation. The challenge was to create a visually compelling piece that reflected the magazine's innovative content and appealed to the tech-savvy audience.
Our vision was to illustrate the intricate relationship between technology and the human spirit. We took inspiration from old anatomical illustrations and combined them with modern graphic design elements to create a piece that is both timeless and modern.
An anatomical drawing of the human brain, painted in meticulous detail in a vintage style, forms the centrepiece of the artwork. This is overlaid with bold, abstract elements - striking red lines and geometric shapes - that symbolise the problem-solving capabilities of technology. The prominent word "SOLVE" anchors the work and emphasises the magazine's focus on technological innovation.
To engage the audience, we used rich textures and layered designs. The interplay of black, white and red not only creates a strong visual contrast, but also encourages the viewer to discover the intricate details. This mix of organic and geometric shapes perfectly reflects the magazine's commitment to historical perspectives and futuristic visions.
